"Teachers have something in common with snakes: snakes regularly shed their skin to grow - but always remain snakes. Teachers should transform themselves in the same way in order to further adapt the learning process that makes learning a success and keep on teaching.“
The presentation will start with a short introduction of the platform tvet-solutions and then directly pick up the experiences from the teacher training in Palestine. Essential design elements, conditions and scope are presented. A training structure based on learning situations from the working world of the teachers is explained. The main pedagogical and didactic learning principles that have played a direct role in the development follow: Students and teachers learn together, visible learning is the key to sustainable learning, relationships between teacher and student are enormously important, self-designed learning products are valuable, perception is reality, customer orientation, individual self-learning is a prerequisite for future success, practical orientation and action orientation are crucial. New findings of brain research are taken up and incorporated. These pedagogical and didactic principles and strategies are reflected on the background of vocational training, to be transferred to blended learning in the final section of the presentation. It will be shown that the essential design elements are the same in all forms of learning - regardless of whether it is attendance learning or distant learning.
