TVET – Change is the new norm

Covid 19 has changed the world. We developed technology skills to remain connected but currently the pressure is on to step up to the age of digital transformation in order to live and be gainfully employed. TVET now needs to diversify, be creative and adventurous so that it remains relevant in this post-Covid world.

Speaker Biography

Dr Carmel Thompson is an international trainer and business mentor. She is the CEO of The Southern Cross Connection which has been in operation for 30 years and provides consultancy services to Australian training organisations and a variety of international clients. She has experience as a business owner, trainer and consultant with a reputation for getting the job done. Carmel has also been a member of IVETA since 2004 and is currently the Vice President for East Asia & the Pacific.
